What are Chemical Waste Systems and Laboratory Fittings:
In order to safely handle and dispose of the Chemical Waste produced within the laboratory environment specialised systems have been developed. These are manufactured from corrosion proof materials to exacting standards. There are 2 principal ranges: Mechanical - where joints are made by mechanical compression of one fitting on to another and Fusion - where joints are formed by heating the materials to form a bond at the jointed area.
Laboratory Fittings are principally Water and Gas Outlets developed for safe use in the laboratory environment. Most will be familiar with these fittings from school days.
We are stockists and distributors for both Mechanical and Fusion Chemical Waste Systems (Vulcathene) and Laboratory Fittings (Vulcathene / Marklab). We have most common sizes available from stock.
Contract Sanitaryware, Light-side, Heating/Plumbing, and Electrical are more specialised areas handled by specific branches within our organisation. (Follow the above links for the relevant branch pages).
